The Íæż½ã½ã community dedicated a memorial bench in memory of Íæż½ã½ãPolice Officer Mark McCullers on Feb. 16, 2017. The bench is in front of Patterson Hall, where the Íæż½ã½ãPolice Department is located.
Officer McCullers died July 5, 2016, after being swept away by floodwaters while working off-duty as a private security guard at a Highland Park construction site. He had served as a member of the Íæż½ã½ãPolice Department Patrol Division since February 2015.
