- Departmental scholarship opportunities exist to new and continuing students.
- May be received for up to 5 semesters for transfer students and up to 8 semesters for first year students, or graduation, whichever comes first.
- Student must maintain required GPA for merit aid renewal.

FAFSA and CSS PROFILE required |
- Need-based
- Must file the FAFSA and CSS Profile each academic year
- Award amount will vary from year to year based on the information received from the FAFSA and CSS Profile
- Award is NOT guaranteed each year
- Must maintain enrollment of 12 or more hours each term
- Incoming first year students may receive for a maximum of 8 regular (fall/spring) semesters or until graduation, whichever comes first
- Incoming transfer students may receive for a maximum of 5 regular (fall/spring) semesters or until graduation, whichever comes first
- If an incoming transfer student additionally qualifies for a merit-based scholarship, they may receive the ÍæÅ¼½ã½ãOpportunity Award for up to 6 regular (fall/spring) semesters or until graduation – whichever comes first
- If additional aid is received after the ÍæÅ¼½ã½ãOpportunity Award is initially calculated, the ÍæÅ¼½ã½ãOpportunity Award will be reduced.
- For example, if a student is determined to be eligible for a $20,000 ÍæÅ¼½ã½ãOpportunity Award, and Financial Aid Services is later informed they will be receiving a $10,000 scholarship from their academic department, the ÍæÅ¼½ã½ãOpportunity Award will be reduced by $10,000.

- Must be receiving a merit-based scholarship
- Must be eligible to receive a Federal Pell Grant
- Award amount will vary from year to year based on the information received from the FAFSA and CSS Profile
- Award is NOT guaranteed each year
- Must maintain enrollment of 12 or more hours each term
- Incoming first year students may receive for a maximum of 8 regular (fall/spring) semesters or until graduation, whichever comes first
- If additional aid is received after the Access ÍæÅ¼½ã½ãScholarship is initially calculated, the Access ÍæÅ¼½ã½ãScholarship will be reduced.
