, a digital repository, showcases SMU’s research and achievements by providing open access to scholarly works of the ÍæÅ¼½ã½ãacademic community. ÍæÅ¼½ã½ãScholar allows members of the ÍæÅ¼½ã½ãacademic community to submit scholarly works and research data, create research journals, and host conferences. The repository provides unrestricted access to original scholarly works and materials previously published (with permission).

Electronic Theses & Dissertations (ETD)

ÍæÅ¼½ã½ãLibraries, the Office of Research and Graduate Studies, and the Office of Instructional Technology partner to host SMU’s open access electronic thesis and dissertation (ETD) program. It allows the research, work and intellectual output of the university's students to reach a global academic community.

Before submitting the ETD to ÍæÅ¼½ã½ãScholar, the student and their advisor must fill out and sign the Deposit Agreement Form. The ETD Submission tutorial guides the user through the ETD submission process.
