Dr. Yuruk is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at ÍæÅ¼½ã½ãLyle. She received her Ph.D. in Applied Computing from University of Arkansas at Little Rock under the guidance of . Her dissertation title was “Structural Clustering Algorithms for Networks,” which yielded several publications in top-tier conferences and journals, including ACM-KDD. Before joining SMU, she was a faculty member in Computer Science department at The University of Texas at Dallas.
Dr. Yuruk is known for her engaging and innovative teaching methods, which blend theory with hands-on application, empowering students to grasp complex concepts and apply them to real-world challenges.
